Tunis, Tunisia — Oilyssa has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Domaine Um Aljanna brand.

Domaine Um Aljanna is an extra virgin olive oil of delicate intensity. Crafted from Arbequina and Chemlali olives, Domaine Um Aljanna is distinguished by floral notes and a gentle almond character, with a refined profile shaped by careful handling from harvest through extraction.

Oilyssa draws inspiration from the dictionary of Mago and focuses on the traditional cultivation of native varieties. Oilyssa handpicks olives directly from the trees and extracts Domaine Um Aljanna solely by mechanical means, pairing these practices with an emphasis on continual improvement across the farm.

Quality control is supported by ongoing testing, with specialists conducting physicochemical analyses in an IOC-recognized laboratory alongside sensory analysis to track freshness and consistency and to guide decisions throughout the production process.

The 2026 Gold builds on Oilyssa’s established presence at the competition. Overall, Oilyssa has earned one Gold and one Silver at the NYIOOC, including a Silver in 2021.

In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Oilyssa is ranked #19 in Tunisia, #125 in the Northern Hemisphere and #127 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
