Ermioni, Greece — Ootopia has been awarded three Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Ootopia Organic Single Estate, Ootopia Manaki and Ootopia Blend.
Ootopia received a Gold for Ootopia Organic Single Estate, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from Koroneiki olives. Ootopia Organic Single Estate is distinguished by impressions of artichoke and green almond, alongside fresh-cut grass, herbs and a lift of eucalyptus that carries into a clean, peppery finish.
In the same results, Ootopia earned a Gold Award for Ootopia Manaki, a medium-intensity monovarietal produced from Manaki olives, and a Gold Award for Ootopia Blend, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from Koroneiki olives.
Ootopia’s olive groves are located on hills above the seaside town of Ermioni in the Peloponnese. Alongside Greek cultivars such as Koroneiki and Manaki, Ootopia works with Italian and Spanish varieties, reflecting an approach that prioritizes sensory quality and agronomic performance over strict varietal or national identity.
The three 2026 Gold Awards add to a strong record for Ootopia at the NYIOOC. Across its full competition history, Ootopia has earned 12 awards, including 10 Gold and two Silver. Ootopia previously won three Gold Awards in 2025, followed by two Gold and one Silver in 2023 and two Gold and one Silver in 2022, when Ootopia was recognized for earning awards for all three of its entries in its first-ever participation at the competition.
The 2026 results place Ootopia among the top-performing Greek producers in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Ootopia is ranked #8 in Greece, #58 in the Northern Hemisphere and #59 Worldwide.
