OPG Šalov-Gustirna Wins Gold at 2026 NYIOOC for Delicate Blend

The Croatian family farm earned top honors for a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from Oblica olives in Dalmatia.

Gustirna, Croatia — OPG Šalov-Gustirna has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the OPG Šalov-Gustirna Delicate Blend brand.

OPG Šalov-Gustirna Delicate Blend is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Made from Oblica olives, the oil is distinguished by fresh herbaceous notes, pink pepper and tomato leaf, with a balanced structure that carries the aromatics through the finish.

OPG Šalov-Gustirna is a small family farm in Croatia cultivating approximately 750 olive trees in the village of Gustirna, in the central Dalmatia region. The farm produces its extra virgin olive oil from native Dalmatian olive trees, focusing on a delicate blend that reflects the local cultivar and growing area.
