The Croatia producer earned its second Gold at the world’s leading olive oil quality contest for a medium-intensity Oblica monovarietal.

Dubrava Tisno, Croatia — OPG Banovi Dvori has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Banovi Dvori Oblica brand.
Banovi Dvori Oblica is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from the Oblica cultivar. Marked by herbaceous character, Banovi Dvori Oblica is distinguished by notes of arugula and artichoke, with radish and spice carrying through to a lively finish.
Set in the small village of Dubrava Tisno near Šibenik, Banovi Dvori is a historic palace courtyard more than 150 years old. OPG Banovi Dvori was once a family estate and has since been transformed into a space for visitors, where a large garden behind the building showcases organically grown food. Several dozen olive trees are harvested to produce olive oil, while traditional elements, including air-dried ham and a wine cellar lined with barrels, underscore the site’s agricultural roots.
The 2026 Gold adds to OPG Banovi Dvori’s record at the NYIOOC, bringing the producer’s overall results to two Gold Awards.
The NYIOOC Gold places Banovi Dvori Oblica among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, OPG Banovi Dvori is ranked #34 in Croatia, #94 in the Northern Hemisphere and #96 Worldwide.
