The Croatian producer earned its fourth NYIOOC Gold award with a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil.

Croatia — OPG Celini has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Olea Viola brand.
Olea Viola is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, distinguished by fresh arugula and tomato leaf aromas, with artichoke and green almond notes that carry through to a clean, balanced finish.
OPG Celini traces its modern olive-growing work to 2002, when the founder began cultivating inherited family land and planted 61 olive trees. In 2013, OPG Celini expanded by purchasing additional land and establishing a larger grove of 500 trees, introducing a diverse set of cultivars that includes Oblica, Levantinka, Plavica, Pendolino, Leccino and Frantoio.
The 2026 Gold continues a consistent run for OPG Celini at the world competition. Across its NYIOOC participation, OPG Celini has earned four Gold awards and no Silvers, including Golds in 2025, 2024 and 2023.
The result also strengthens OPG Celini’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where OPG Celini is ranked #21 in Croatia, #76 in the Northern Hemisphere and #80 Worldwide.
