Skradin, Croatia — OPG Šime Petrović has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Šime brand.
Šime is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity made from Krvavica olives. The oil is distinguished by notes of celery and olive leaf, lifted by spice on the finish, expressing the character of the cultivar and the careful handling of the fruit from grove to mill.
Situated in Skradin, a small town in the region of North Dalmatia in the heart of Krka National Park, OPG Šime Petrović is a family of dedicated olive farmers focused on olive oil.
The 2026 Gold continues a strong run at the competition for OPG Šime Petrović. With six Gold Awards and no Silvers overall, OPG Šime Petrović has earned a Gold each year from 2021 through 2025, underscoring consistent results across multiple editions of the NYIOOC.
