Northern Istria, Croatia — OPG Krbavčić has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Pavletić Cunj Ena brand.

Pavletić Cunj Ena is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from Lecciana olives. Distinguished by herbaceous notes alongside chicory and arugula, the oil is energized by radish and a steady peppery sensation. Early harvesting and cold extraction help preserve freshness and the clarity of its aromatic profile.

OPG Krbavčić is a family-run olive oil estate from northern Istria, located beneath the slopes of Mount Učka. Working in one of the northernmost olive-growing areas of the Mediterranean, OPG Krbavčić cultivates groves shaped by cooler conditions, mineral-rich soils and strong winds, producing limited quantities of premium extra virgin olive oil rooted in family tradition and careful craftsmanship.

The NYIOOC Gold places Pavletić Cunj Ena among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, OPG Krbavčić ranks #57 in Croatia, #126 in the Northern Hemisphere and #130 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
