OPG Lalin Earns 2026 NYIOOC Gold for Dalma Premium

The Croatian family farm’s medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil was recognized among the world’s best at the 2026 NYIOOC.

Split, Croatia — OPG Lalin has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Dalma Premium brand.

Dalma Premium is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Marked by fresh herbal character, Dalma Premium opens with green, grassy aromatics, followed by almond nuances and a soft vanilla note that rounds out the profile.

OPG Lalin has been growing olives and producing olive oil since 1990, when the work began as a hobby before becoming a business ten years ago. The family farm counts 300 olive trees, with Oblica accounting for 70 percent of the grove, while Leccino and Levantinka each make up 15 percent. Annual production is about 2,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil.

OPG Lalin’s latest distinction adds to a steady competition record at the NYIOOC. Across its participation, OPG Lalin has earned four Gold Awards and two Silver Awards, including a Gold Award in 2025, two Silver Awards in 2024 and Gold Awards in both 2023 and 2022.

The 2026 NYIOOC Gold places Dalma Premium among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, OPG Lalin is ranked #17 in Croatia, #70 in the Northern Hemisphere and #74 Worldwide.
