Croatia — OPG Nikša Trebotić has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Oliva brand.

Oliva is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity produced from Oblica olives. The oil is distinguished by a green-fruity character, with artichoke and olive leaf aromas layered with radish and a measured peppery lift. Careful harvesting and rapid milling help preserve freshness and clarity, while cold-pressing in small batches supports a clean, precise expression of flavor.

OPG Nikša Trebotić is a small family farm with 1,500 olive trees. The farm follows time-honored and sustainable olive-growing practices, focusing on close attention in the grove and quick processing after harvest to protect the oil’s green-fruity profile and maintain strict standards of purity and quality.

The 2026 NYIOOC Gold places Oliva among the world’s award-winning extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, OPG Nikša Trebotić is ranked #59 in Croatia, #126 in the Northern Hemisphere and #127 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
