Split, Croatia — OPG Nikolic has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for OPG Nikolic Blend.

OPG Nikolic Blend is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Crafted from Oblica and Lastovka olives, the oil is distinguished by notes of artichoke and fresh herbs, balanced by a measured peppery finish.

OPG Nikolic traces its origins to a family desire to consume home-grown products and a long-standing affection for nature, plants and animals. Over time, the farm expanded in size and scope, with olive trees planted across 30,000 square meters, mostly Oblica, tended with an ecological approach rooted in working in harmony with nature.

The 2026 Silver adds to OPG Nikolic’s record at the NYIOOC, bringing the producer’s overall results to one Gold and one Silver. OPG Nikolic previously earned a Gold at the 2025 competition.

The 2026 NYIOOC Silver places OPG Nikolic among this season’s recognized producers. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, OPG Nikolic is ranked #34 in Croatia, #93 in the Northern Hemisphere and #97 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
