OPG Pedic Wins Gold at 2026 NYIOOC for Priska

The Croatian family producer earned its fourth NYIOOC Gold for a medium-intensity blend of Oblica, Lastovka and Istarska Bjelica.

Pridraga, Croatia — OPG Pedic has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Priska brand.

Priska is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity made from Oblica, Lastovka and Istarska Bjelica olives. The blend is distinguished by herbaceous aromatics, bitter almond and walnut notes and a distinctly unripe character that underscores its fresh, green profile.

OPG Pedic is a small family company with olive trees in Pridraga, near the city of Zadar. With groves located near the Novigrad and Karin seas, OPG Pedic focuses on producing extra virgin olive oil.

The 2026 Gold adds to OPG Pedic’s established record at the NYIOOC, where the producer has earned four Gold Awards overall. The latest recognition follows prior Golds in 2025, 2023 and 2021.

The 2026 result also strengthens OPG Pedic’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where the producer is ranked #30 in Croatia, #87 in the Northern Hemisphere and #89 Worldwide.
