Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina — OPG Ramljak has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Ul.je Ramljak brand.

Ul.je Ramljak is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, distinguished by ripe olive character layered with leafy aromatics, a hint of arugula and a clean black pepper finish. The oil is produced from fruit grown in Herzegovina’s rocky terrain, where plentiful sunny days support steady ripening. Olives are processed at the mill using cold-press extraction to preserve freshness and balance.

With more than 17 years of experience, OPG Ramljak produces extra virgin olive oil in what it describes as Herzegovina’s ecologically pristine landscape. The groves are rooted in stony ground typical of the region, and the production approach centers on careful processing and cold extraction in the onsite oil mill.

The 2026 Silver continues OPG Ramljak’s record at the NYIOOC. The producer has earned two Silver Awards overall, including a Silver in 2025.

The NYIOOC result places OPG Ramljak among the most recognized producers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, OPG Ramljak is ranked #5 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, #97 in the Northern Hemisphere and #99 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
