Croatia — OPG Rosazzo has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Rosazzo Terra Rossa.
Rosazzo Terra Rossa is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from Buza olives. The oil is distinguished by a fresh, green profile that recalls eucalyptus and leaf, with tones of unripe fruit and green almond, alongside a savory edge reminiscent of arugula.
OPG Rosazzo described its work as the result of a young family’s focus on early-harvested extra virgin olive oil made from local cultivars. What began as a hobby has grown into a continuing passion for producing early harvested oils.
The NYIOOC Gold places Rosazzo Terra Rossa among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, OPG Rosazzo is ranked #56 in Croatia, #125 in the Northern Hemisphere and #129 Worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
