Olive Oil Times — Palacio Oliaxi has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Oliventus.
At the same time, Palacio Oliaxi secured two Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC, with We, The Legend – Picual recognized in the Delicate category from the Picual cultivar and We, The Legend – Hojiblanca earning Gold in the Medium category from the Hojiblanca cultivar.
Oliventus is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from Hojiblanca olives. The award underscores Palacio Oliaxi’s focus on small-volume production, with fruit hand-picked from each tree and cold pressed later the same day.
Across the three awarded oils, the results highlight Palacio Oliaxi’s work with both Hojiblanca and Picual, with the two We, The Legend expressions capturing Gold in distinct intensity categories alongside Oliventus’ Silver recognition.
With the 2026 results, Palacio Oliaxi’s overall NYIOOC record stands at three Gold Awards and one Silver Award, for four total distinctions, including a Gold received in 2018.
