Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina — Paxa Dola has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Paxa brand.
"Winning this award is a great honor for all of us at Paxa Dola. In these Easter days, we receive it with special gratitude and joy, as a beautiful encouragement for all the love, effort, and care invested in our olive groves and every drop of oil we produce. We thank God, our team, and all those who support and believe in our story.," said s.Dajana Dujmović, Representative of Paxa Dola at Paxa Dola.
Paxa is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Marked by herbaceous tones, Paxa is distinguished by notes of arugula and green almond, an unripe green fruitiness and a peppery sensation that carries through the finish.
Paxa Dola traces its origins to an olive grove near Mostar, set within the grounds of the St. Francis Monastery in Potoci. Established on land donated to the Franciscan Sisters by Bishop Fra Paškal Buconjić, the grove spans 13.95 hectares and includes 3,500 olive trees selected for their quality and resilience.
The 2026 Gold builds on Paxa Dola’s competition record at the NYIOOC. After earning a Silver in 2025, Paxa Dola now holds one Gold and one Silver across two total awards.
The NYIOOC result also strengthens Paxa Dola’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Paxa Dola is ranked #6 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, #96 in the Northern Hemisphere and #98 Worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
