Polymenakos Maxouli Wins Two Silvers at 2026 NYIOOC for Maxouli and 300 Organic

The Lakonia-based producer was recognized for a delicate and a medium extra virgin olive oil at the world’s leading olive oil quality contest.

Lakonia, Greece — Polymenakos Maxouli has been awarded two Silver Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Maxouli and 300 Organic brands.

Polymenakos Maxouli earned a Silver for Maxouli, a delicate extra virgin olive oil distinguished by ripe fruit character with suggestions of banana and peach. Polymenakos Maxouli also secured a Silver Award for 300 Organic, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil, bringing the Lakonia producer’s 2026 results to two awards across two labels.

Polymenakos Maxouli has been harvesting, producing, blending, packaging and marketing extra virgin olive oil in Lakonia since 1999. Polymenakos Maxouli processes its products with extreme care and produces a blend made from Koroneiki olives (80 percent) and Athinolia olives (20 percent), a combination that reflects the producer’s approach to balancing varietal character and consistency.

The 2026 results add to Polymenakos Maxouli’s established record at the competition. Across Polymenakos Maxouli’s full NYIOOC history, the producer has earned three Silver Awards in total, including a Silver in 2023, with the two Silvers in 2026 marking the latest recognition of its work.

The latest NYIOOC results place Polymenakos Maxouli among the top-performing producers tracked in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Polymenakos Maxouli is ranked #57 in Greece, #125 in the Northern Hemisphere and #126 Worldwide.
