At the same time, Pons secured two additional distinctions at the 2026 NYIOOC, earning Gold Awards for Janiroc Koroneiki and Janiroc Arbequina. All three recognized extra virgin olive oils were entered in the medium intensity category, underscoring the breadth of the Janiroc range across three cultivars and reinforcing the producer’s standing among award-winning Spanish olive oil producers.
Janiroc Lecciana is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from the Lecciana cultivar. The profile is marked by an arugula note, contributing to a green, savory character that aligns with the cultivar’s contemporary appeal and the style of fresh, fruit-forward oils increasingly sought by consumers.
