Alatri, Italy — Quattriciochi has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Chic Italia Premium Black brand.

Chic Italia Premium Black is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from Itrana olives. Marked by a fresh green character, Chic Italia Premium Black is distinguished by eucalyptus aromatics and notes of tomato leaf and artichoke, balanced by green almond and a clean black pepper finish.

Quattriciochi traces its roots back to Alatri, in the Frosinone area, dating to the mid-19th century. For generations, the family cultivated olives and produced oil, establishing a strong agricultural vocation that later shaped the modern business.

In the late 20th century, Quattrociocchi Americo evolved from a family-run operation into an organized enterprise. Under Americo, tradition and innovation converged as the brand expanded its presence, bringing its extra virgin olive oils to markets in Italy and more than 50 countries worldwide.

The NYIOOC Gold places Chic Italia Premium Black among the world's elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Quattriciochi is ranked #80 in Italy, #127 in the Northern Hemisphere and #129 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
