Athens, Greece — SIA Natures Icons has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Doleon Greek Premium brand.
"Doleon Greek Premium is an exquisite, high-phenolic, health-claim EVOO, 100% natural, awarded for 11 consecutive years! We are really proud of this achievement, as outstanding, consistent quality is our first priority and is very difficult to achieve. We are a family business, and the extra virgin olive oil we provide every year is exactly the same as the one we have on our table, too.," said Giorgos Makris, CEO at SIA Natures Icons.
Doleon Greek Premium is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from Koroneiki olives. The oil is distinguished by notes of chicory and olive leaf, followed by a clean thread of spice that builds through the finish.
SIA Natures Icons describes a mission centered on sharing an olive oil traditionally kept among families and friends, with an emphasis on delivering extra virgin olive oil it would serve to members of its own family. Presented under the Doleon Greek Premium label, the producer has focused on reaching beyond “good” olive oil toward higher standards of flavor and quality.
The 2026 Gold adds to a consistent record at the NYIOOC for SIA Natures Icons. Across six total awards, SIA Natures Icons has earned five Golds and one Silver, with distinctions in 2015, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2026.
The latest recognition also reinforces SIA Natures Icons’ standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where it is ranked #22 in Greece, #79 in the Northern Hemisphere and #80 Worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
