Ribatejo, Portugal — Sociedade Agrícola Ouro Vegetal has been awarded two Gold Awards and two Silver Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
Among the top honors, Cabeço das Nogueiras Galega Veronica Foods earned a Gold Award in the medium category. Produced from Galega olives, Cabeço das Nogueiras Galega Veronica Foods shows a medium intensity, distinguished by a fig leaf note that lends a fresh, green lift to the profile.
Sociedade Agrícola Ouro Vegetal also secured a Gold Award for Cabeço das Nogueiras Picual Veronica Foods, a medium-intensity monovarietal made from Picual olives. Two additional medium-intensity monovarietals from Sociedade Agrícola Ouro Vegetal received Silver Awards: Cabeço das Nogueiras Cobrançosa Veronica Foods, made from Cobrancosa olives, and Cabeço das Nogueiras Miller's Reserve Veronica Foods, produced from Koroneiki olives.
