Italy — Società Agricola GVG has been awarded two Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Valle Felciosa and Belvedere.

Società Agricola GVG earned a Gold for Valle Felciosa, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil distinguished by fresh almond and green pepper tones, with hints of chicory and green tomato that lend brightness and balance. The producer also secured a Gold for Belvedere, a robust extra virgin olive oil recognized in the same edition of the competition.

GVG was founded by the Lombardi Stronati family, who inherited a passion for olives and olive oil. Over more than 10 years, the family has prepared and cultivated its farmland, testing various olive mixtures alongside unique cold-pressing methods aimed at producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

The two Gold Awards add to Società Agricola GVG’s established NYIOOC record. Across its full competition history, the producer has earned five awards in total: three Gold and two Silver, including one Gold and two Silver in 2025.

The 2026 results also advance Società Agricola GVG’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where it is ranked #44 in Italy, #82 in the Northern Hemisphere and #85 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
