Menorca, Spain — Son Felip has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Son Felip brand.

Produced from Koroneiki olives, Son Felip is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, marked by a fresh green character with arugula emerging clearly on the palate. Careful milling and certified organic production underpin the oil’s clean aromatics and balanced structure.

Son Felip is a regenerative agriculture project on the island of Menorca, working to develop an environmentally, socially and economically productive agricultural system rooted in local, traditional foods of high nutritional value. Alongside extra virgin olive oil, Son Felip produces ancient Xeixa wheat grain, almonds, honey, melons and watermelons, and also raises cattle and pigs, building a diversified farm model centered on long-term stewardship and local production.

Son Felip produces high-quality certified organic extra virgin olive oil in its mill, with the 2026 NYIOOC recognition adding international validation to the project’s approach to cultivation and processing.

The Silver award places Son Felip among the recognized producers in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Son Felip stands at #69 in Spain, #127 in the Northern Hemisphere and #131 Worldwide.
