Tuscany, Italy — Tenuta Morgiano has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Tenuta Morgiano brand.
Tenuta Morgiano is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, distinguished by notes of artichoke and herbs, complemented by green almond and a black pepper finish. Produced in Italy, Tenuta Morgiano reflects an approach centered on careful attention in the grove and at the mill to preserve freshness and balance.
In 2024, Tenuta Morgiano entered a new chapter under an owner whose professional life has been defined by meticulous work. “I am a dentist by profession, trained in precision and patience, but my heart belongs to the Tuscan hills,” said the owner of Tenuta Morgiano. “In 2024, I had the opportunity to acquire Tenuta Morgiano, where I had already lived for over a decade. Here we produce extra virgin olive oil without chemical treatments, respecting the land and the trees. Morgiano is more than a farm—it is a life project inspired by the light and beauty of Tuscan sunsets.”
The NYIOOC Gold places Tenuta Morgiano among the world's elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Tenuta Morgiano is ranked #80 in Italy, #127 in the Northern Hemisphere and #129 Worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
