Tuscany, Italy — Trebbio has been awarded three Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, led by Trebbio Leccio del Corno.
Trebbio received Gold for Trebbio Leccio del Corno, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from the Leccio del Corno cultivar. The award-winning profile is distinguished by fresh, green sensations that recall artichoke and arugula, lifted by a crisp apple note that carries through the finish.
Trebbio also secured Gold for two robust-intensity extra virgin olive oils: Trebbio Peppery Intense and Trebbio Frantoio, the latter produced from the Frantoio cultivar. Together, the three awards highlight the breadth of Trebbio’s production, from a medium monovarietal expression of Leccio del Corno to robust oils shaped by cultivar and style.
On the Il Trebbio estate in Tuscany, Trebbio produces organic extra virgin olive oil hand-crafted from olives harvested across traditional and modern groves. The producer describes its approach as focused on a “timeless taste,” rooted in estate-grown fruit and careful handling from harvest through processing.
The 2026 results add to a strong track record at the competition. Trebbio’s full NYIOOC history now stands at six Gold Awards and no Silver Awards, including three Gold Awards earned in 2025.
The three Gold Awards also boosted Trebbio’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Trebbio is ranked #36 in Italy, #78 in the Northern Hemisphere and #80 worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
