Fazana, Croatia — Štucin Olive Oil has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Štucin Blend brand.

The Štucin Olive Oil Štucin Blend is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, Vodnjanska crnica, Istria Buza and Istrian Bjelica olives. The oil is distinguished by herbaceous aromas and balsamic lift, with unripe sensations and a walnut-like nuance that carry through the finish.

Štucin Olive Oil’s story started in the late 1990s when brothers Alen and Sandi, together with their father Teodor, decided to renew an old family-owned olive grove in Fazana. Today, the family owns around 1,000 olive trees in Fazana and their hometown, Labin, cultivating Istarska Bijelica, Istarska Buza, Carbonaza, Leccino, Pendolino and Frantoio olives. Alongside Štucin Blend, Štucin Olive Oil produces Buza and Istarska Bijelica monovarietal extra virgin olive oils.

“We are very happy to win this award,” said Karlo Štucin, Head of production at Štucin Olive Oil. “It is our first international competition outside of Croatia. This harvest was difficult due to the climate conditions, and a lot of care was needed to keep the fruits healthy. We feel happy and motivated to continue the hard work.”

The NYIOOC Gold places Štucin Blend among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Štucin Olive Oil is ranked #55 in Croatia, #126 in the Northern Hemisphere and #128 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
