Northern California, United States — Twin Rocks Winery has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Twin Rocks brand.

Crafted from Arbequina, Coratina, Picual and Frantoio olives, Twin Rocks is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. The blend is distinguished by herbaceous notes alongside hints of radish, with green and bitter almond characteristics and a peppery lift suggestive of arugula.

Twin Rocks Winery grows and produces Twin Rocks Olive Oil in northern California, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The region’s cool, wet winters and hot, dry summers support fruit development and contribute to oils noted for flavor and aroma.

The 2026 Gold adds to Twin Rocks Winery’s NYIOOC record of four total awards, comprising two Golds and two Silvers. The producer previously earned Silver Awards in 2024 and 2023 and a Gold Award in 2021.

The NYIOOC Gold places Twin Rocks among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Twin Rocks Winery is ranked #47 in the United States, #107 in the Northern Hemisphere and #110 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
