The Croatian producer earned its sixth Gold at the world’s leading olive oil quality contest for its medium-intensity Oblica extra virgin olive oil.

Svir0e, Croatia  Uljara Bozic - Svirce D.O.O has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Bozic Uje brand.

Bozic Uje is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, crafted from Oblica olives. The oil is distinguished by a fresh green character, with notes of green pepper and grass layered over green tomato and tomato leaf, finishing with a clear peppery bite that lingers on the palate.

In reporting on the 2020 results, Olive Oil Times noted that Croatian olive oil producers earned 49 awards from 60 entries, underscoring the attention being paid to quality-driven production across the country.

The 2026 Gold adds to a decade-long NYIOOC record for Uljara Bozic - Svirce D.O.O. Overall, the producer has earned 10 awards at the competition, including six Gold and four Silver distinctions. The annual results include a Gold in 2025, a Silver in 2024, a Gold in 2023, a Silver in 2022, a Gold and a Silver in 2021, a Gold in 2020, a Gold in 2018 and a Silver in 2017.
