Arezzo, Italy — Villa la Ripa SRL has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Villa la Ripa brand.

Made from Leccino, Moraiolo and Frantoio olives, Villa la Ripa is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. The oil is distinguished by bright notes of artichoke and fresh herbs, a leafy hint of arugula and a steady peppery lift that carries through the finish.

Villa la Ripa SRL produces olive oil on the Chianti slopes of Arezzo in Tuscany, where a Renaissance villa sits among olive groves and vineyards between Florence and Siena. Alongside olive cultivation, the estate also produces wines, including Peconio, Tiratari, Psyco and Spaziolibero, and grows Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz with an emphasis on respect for nature and environmental sustainability.

The 2026 Gold adds to Villa la Ripa SRL’s record at the NYIOOC, bringing the producer’s total to two Gold Awards overall, following a previous Gold in 2019.

The NYIOOC result also strengthens Villa la Ripa SRL’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where the producer is ranked #75 in Italy, #121 in the Northern Hemisphere and #125 Worldwide.
