Slatine, Croatia — Zdravko Domić has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Sv. Mare Oblica brand.
Sv. Mare Oblica is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Made exclusively from Oblica, the Dalmatian cultivar long associated with the Adriatic coast, Sv. Mare Oblica is distinguished by herbaceous aromas, olive leaf and arugula notes and a fresh, green tomato lift that carries through the finish.
Zdravko Domić is a small producer from Slatine, a coastal town on the island of Čiovo in the province of Dalmatia. Zdravko Domić follows a family tradition of olive processing passed down through generations, taking over the work from his father, who learned the craft from his own father. Building on that inherited knowledge, Zdravko Domić focuses on refining technique and pursuing balance and precision in the flavor profile of his extra virgin olive oils.
The 2026 NYIOOC Silver places Sv. Mare Oblica among the awarded extra virgin olive oils recognized by the competition. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Zdravko Domić is ranked #58 in Croatia, #126 in the Northern Hemisphere and #129 Worldwide.
