Lakonia, Greece — Zoefull has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Wild Olive Oil.

Wild Olive Oil is an extra virgin olive oil of robust intensity produced from a wild cultivar. Hand-harvested in small batches from wild olive trees growing on the rugged mountains of Lakonia, Wild Olive Oil reflects an approach centered on limited-edition production and minimal intervention. Zoefull produces Wild Olive Oil as an unadulterated wild extra virgin olive oil, emphasizing its naturally ultra-rich polyphenol content and the pronounced character that comes with fruit sourced from untamed groves.

Founded by Greek producers focused on what they describe as the ancient and potent, Zoefull has worked to bring truly wild, high-phenolic olive oil from Greece to the United States. The production team’s stated aim is to capture both the flavor and vitality associated with wild olives from Lakonia, relying on careful, manual harvesting and small-batch handling.

"Winning this Gold Award is deeply meaningful to us because we value quality and uniqueness above all else, and our Wild Olive Oil is, by its very nature, a unique product that resists shortcuts," said Zoefull, Production Team at Zoefull.

The 2026 NYIOOC Gold places Wild Olive Oil among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Zoefull is #54 in Greece, #125 in the Northern Hemisphere and #129 Worldwide.
